Pathfinders

Join the T.E.A.M. Milken Pathfinders program!

The purpose of the T.E.A.M. Milken Pathfinders program is to help students in their first year at the George Washington University in the School of Public Health fully explore the breadth of their major and experiential learning opportunities in their field. While some students have a clear vision of the degree program they wish to pursue and their future goals within the field, others may still be seeking a defined path forward - a step-by-step guide to their four years at GW and beyond.

Whether you’re unsure of your goals, feel a bit disconnected, or want more personalized guidance, this program will empower you to discover valuable resources to support your development and success at GW. Students can expect to:

  • Meet new people who share similar interests and goals
  • Enjoy early access to advising opportunities and on-campus events
  • Participate in cohort programs, workshops, and social events both on-campus and within the DC area
  • Benefit from one-on-one alumni, peer mentorship, and on-campus Success Coaching
  • Develop relationships with staff and faculty at GWSPH through panel discussions
  • Explore identities as leaders on campus

Pathfinders Interest Form

Program Details

It is important to note that Pathfinders is a by invitation- or nomination-only program, limited and restricted to students who would benefit from individualized support as they fully explore the breadth of their major and the experience learning opportunities at the School of Public Health and GW. Students nominated, invited, or who have expressed interest in the program must complete a short interest form. Because we are bound to have more interested students than we are able to accommodate, we will work closely with academic advisors to determine which students would benefit most from participation.
