Why should you join the T.E.A.M?

Over the course of the academic year, we will help connect you to professional mentors, workshops, and other exciting opportunities. This is a chance to grow your personal and professional network, meeting other students within Milken who are on this journey together! 

There are core activities of the program and many more optional events that you can choose from based on your needs and interests.

Do you want to support undergraduate students in their academic and professional journey at the Milken Institute School of Public Health?

Our students may be looking for professional advice, mentoring to help them navigate their undergraduate years, or just a friendly face when times are difficult.   We have not established a formal mentoring program because we believe great relationships will happen organically. 

You do not have to teach in the undergraduate program to join; the only qualification is your desire to help T.E.A.M. Milken students succeed at GW! 

To be a T.E.A.M Mentor, we ask that you fill out a profile that we can post on our website, be open to meet with T.E.A.M. Milken students if they reach out to you, and attend at least one T.E.A.M. Milken event during the academic year. 

If you plan on leaving the university after signing up, please notify the T.E.A.M. Milken Coordinator so we can remove your information from the website.
