Maranda Ward, Ed.D.
Assistant Professor, GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences
As a first-generation student, Dr. Ward understands what it was like to not know how to navigate university resources. And, coming from an under-resourced high school, she also had no idea how to study or master test-taking skills. She is apart of the T.E.A.M. to make herself available for "othered" students who can relate. Dr. Ward's background is in Sociology/Anthropology, Maternal and Child Health as well as Education. She runs a youth non-profit, is very actively involved in community health and teaches health equity to undergraduate students. For more details, visit www.marandaward.com
