Ashanti Carter is a champion for health and education equity. Earning an MPH from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science in Los Angeles, CA, she observed how structural racism creates health disparities. Ashanti is interested in the intersection of public health and education as it relates to student retention and student success. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in higher education administration.
